The Central Washington University music family is mourning the loss of faculty member Maria Roditeleva-Wibe, who passed away suddenly this fall. She was a beloved teacher and pianist. As a native Russian, one of her favorite composers was Rachmaninoff. Fellow Central Washington faculty member John Michel (cello) and I performed the slow movement of the cello sonata at her memorial.
